Can fasting for 25 hours (no food or water) affect supply temporarily or long-term? tia

I think I might still do some water - my supply is tanking already
But the first article was weird - it is more important for mom to fast than for dad to go to synagogue?  (#6 on their list)  Very strange...  We only got 1 ticket for services because DD will never make it through.  And we can't do Kol Nidre and keep her bedtime...  Oh well, maybe next year...

I think I am going to drink and eat a ton the days before and sip water throughout. I will just lay around most of the day too and not go to shul. Shana Tova!

I mentioned this to my mom and she was adiment that I shouldn't fast when nursing.  She said she did when I was 3 months old and it caused huge problems with her supply.  She knew better the next year with my sister.  She's more observent than I am, so I feel I'm making the best choice not to fast this year.
