FB friend posted second innapropriate picture of her kids

I posted about the first...it's her 3 older kids, laying naked (besides undies) in a field, arms all entertwined (it was like 7.5 year old girl, 11 year old boy, 5 year old girl)

She just now posted one of her two girls (7.5, 5) embracing in the tub, with the older one kissing the younger one.

Maybe they're just artsy, but they're definitely not appropriate. I can see where someone would view these photos the wrong way. I've heard tons of stories of photos taken innocently that were prosecuted for child pornography. I'm not sure why you'd take it, and if you did, why you would post them on FB.

Re: FB friend posted second innapropriate picture of her kids

  • Definately weird.  I woudn't post that!!
  • Definitely odd.  I don't let anyone (including my mom or me) take naked pics of the girls after age 1 or topless after age 2.  I don't think she would ever put them anywhere, but you never know.  Too many creepy other people in the world even if the photos themselves are meant to be innocent.  And at that age, I find them strange in general.

  • Maybe I'm the odd one but it doesn't seem all that big of a big deal to me provided that no genitals are visible and the children are all prepubescent.

Cleo I agree.  I don't see what's the big deal.  I wouldn't put them on facebook but I don't think they are bad pictures.  The girls were probably just being sweet and she wanted to show off their sweet cute side.

  • 11 is a bit old...but for the other two not a big deal as far as taking the pic.  Posting it on FB is dumb though.
  • As long as her profile page is set right, only her friends should be able to see her pictures..so unless a friend would do something inappropriate with the pictures, I don't really see what the problem is. Though it is a bit weird to have naked pics of an 11 yr old.

I agree too---If she is posting those I would assume she knows/trusts the people she has able to see them.  It's pathetic that the second we see skin people think SEX, SEX, SEX...it's ridiculous & sad.  They are pre-pubescent kids w/ their private areas covered & no I don't consider a girl w/ out a shirt w/out any semblence of boobs as "topless" in the sexual sense.

    ditto

  • Oh it could be worse.  My DH's aunt did an artsy photocard for Christmas one year with her naked 6yr old son and 4 yr old daughter...they were full frontal...ew ew ew ew! I don't need to see her children's anatomy EVER, expecially not on a Christmas card!
