laxatives and pregnancy?

Are there any ones safe to use??  I'm so freaking sick and it's been days and days and I think it would help.  I'm taking fiber, drinking as much as I can, but no results.  HELP???

    I know you can use colace (sp?) stool softener, but I don't know about an actual laxative.

    I was given a list of meds that I can take when I saw my OB last week, the only thing that's on there is colace, which will take a few days to start working, sorry, :(. I've been doing colace 2x/day since I got my BFP, just to avoid this.

    From what I understand you cant because it could actually trigger some contractions.  Stool softener and warm prune juice!
