What spoons and bowls for solids?

Just curious what bowls and spoons you use for solids.  We plan to start at 6 months, so I was going to add some solid food gear onto my diapers.com order.  Also, if you use the babycubes for freezing food, how many do you own?And would you recommend the 1 or 2 oz. size?

I don't remember the names, but we use the gerber bowls with lids.  Those are great to use at home and also to take out.  For spoons we use the gerber infant spoons with the soft tip.

We have munchkin spoons and they are a little deep, DS rarely gets all the food off of them. I just use our small bowls, nothing special

We used regular bowls for solids.  Early on, I used the Gerber rubber tipped spoons, but DS graduated to regular spoons by about 8 or 9 months.

We use the Gerber bowls with lids for carrying around snacks and finger foods.

I have Munchkin spoons and Gerber spoons.  DD prefers the Gerber ones, but will use both.  The Munchkin ones were pretty cheap, so they are nice to have to keep as a back up in the diaper bag and whatnot.

We got these really cool silicone spoons from Williams-Sonoma.  DD LOVES them!!

I use the munchkin spoons that turn white when the food is too hot.  We love them!  I also have the gerber bowls with the lids.  They are great.

I make and freeze baby food and would recommend the 2 oz portion.  If you want less you can always just fill it halfway, but your LO will be eating the 2 oz in no time.  If you get the 1 oz portion size you will just have to make twice as many cubes.

we like the munchkin bowls and spoons.  i give the babysitter the take and toss travel containers...and fill what is needed for the day.  i also love those when i am out and need to feed her.

We like Gerber spoons and "Take and Toss" bowls (we use them for DC, too).
