He had been studying for his Series 7 test with Morgan Stanley/DW that summer and was scheduled to go on a field trip for 2 weeks as part of the program.  His old boss called him 10 days before and offered to put him through finance school and make him a F&I manager at his previous dealership.  So he quit and went back to his old job.  The 5 other guys in his class were there on the 2nd floor when the plane hit.  They were interviewed on the Phx local news when they returned home.  It still gives me chills that he was "almost" there.

God, can you imagine?  MH was in Philly working and was supposed to be going to Manhattan for a rotation.  Needless to say that never happened.  Thank God for small miracles!

So was my brother. He worked for Cisco and had an appointment at Morgan Stanley at 11 that morning. Yikes.
