So Kim and Jason want specific drop off and pick up times? That is not cool. I wonder why they are doing that.

Excellent!  Steve is kinda bummed, since he wanted a big party for his 40th but all his best friends already have a suprise party they are going to on the same night, for another guy they all know.  Steve had not got the invite yet when we planned on this.  The other party is a no-kids, 70's theme cocktail party.  Steve feels gipped that his BEST friends since high school wouldn't come to his party.  SOme might still come for a little bit.  We'll see.  I feel bad for him now.   

I was thinking we could change the time to 3 or 4 pm, that way his friends could come since the other party doesn't start until 7:30pm.  (plus ours in in Everett and the other one is in Kirkland/Woodinville.. his friends complain about leaving the eastside other than going to Seattle.  BOO!

I think Steve's recruited his brothers to help him, but I'll let you know if I need anything.

Yeah, I guess I wrote 9-4pm on A's times for daycare and Steve picked her up at 5 yesterday.  They mentioned that I had written 4pm.  On the letter they sent home a month or so ago, it did say they needed specific drop off and pick up times and they would charge  for overages, but I assummed it was for over 5:30 pm, not over what you have written.  HELLO, they KNOW when I travel, Steve has to adjust.  Shoot, they've even let him drop her off in her jammies at 6:15 before for a special thing.  Again, right now, it's a non -issue, but come january it will be a HUGE issue for us.  And paying/getting  1800 a month for daycare is nothing to joke about I would think.  They woulnd't want to jeapordize that.  (Again, I would think....)  A's rate does go down at the end of January, so we only have to pay the 1800 for 1 month thank goodness!

Oh that sucks that most of Steve's friends have another party to go to. If you change the time just let me know we could do earlier too.

So they want you to say what time your going to pick A up and if it is later then you "think" or write down but still within the business hours they charge you? That is amazing. Like you I would think any time within their operating hours would be fine. Wow I am so surprised that they would do that to their families.  How can you predict that what if something comes up or changes it happens to me all the time. I get out late or get stuck.
