When will you let your kid(s) date?

I'm thinking Junior year. I mean I know they will have boyfriends and/or girlfriends before then, and group dating would probably be cool for before then, but as for one on one car dates... I think (think being the key word) we'll wait until their junior year.

I think Junior year is a good time frame. I really started to like boys at the end of my sophomore year. Depends I guess on grades, attitude etc.

We just talked about this this past weekend...we went to a cookout and our friends have twin boys that are about 10 months older than MJ.  They were in loooove with her, eyeing her and kept coming up to her and touching her face.  She was smiling and eating it up.  My husband was about ready to die, he said "I thought I wouldn't have deal with this for another 18 years!" hahaha...I think it just depends on their maturity and what exactly a "date" means to them, you know?

Also, I know there are tons of differing opinions here, but how does this affect people's ideals on premarital sex? Like, will you try to keep your kids from sexual situations even once they are 17 or 18 or will you kind of turn them loose at this time. Our family supports waiting until marriage to be intimate, but I know many women on here do not. How will you handle that with your kids?
