I normally nurse in public, but the few times that I've taken a bottle out and about with us, I just toss it in the diaper bag and let it warm up to room temperature. LO has taken it with no problems.
I think I have seen a bottle warmer with a car adapter at Target.
I have a bottle warmer, but I have only used it once so I can't really say how efficient it is....I believe it takes it a little while to warm up. I normally will throw a bottle in the diaper bag and let it just get to room temp.
Toss bottle in the diaper bag and let it warm to room temp. Takes about 2 hours in my diaper bag since it's somewhat insulated. If it still has a chill when I take it out, I try to warm it by rolling it between my hands or putting it in my pants pocket.
If at a restaurant, ask for a hot cup of water, and drop the bottle in. Takes about 2 min depending on how hot the water is.
We have the car bottle warmer for longer car rides. It is effective, but seems to take a while to warm. And a hungry crying baby in a car is heartwrenching. I prefer to put the bottle in the cup holder when we get in the car and let it warm naturally.

I've done all of the above:
