Success after IF

Need opinions... please!

I have a job interview tomorrow...  I am so confused if I should tell them in the interview or wait and see if they offer the job and then tell them I am pregnant.  I know I don't have to tell them and they don't have the right to ask.  I am not showing (as I am heavy set to begin with and it is still so early).  My husband and I really need this second income.  On one hand I want to be honest on the other I don't want to lose out just because I am pregnant.  What would you do???  TIA!

  • I wouldn't tell them at this point. Wait until you've been offered the position.

  • i would not tell them during the interview that i was pregnant. they should offer the job or not w/o being privy to that information.

  • Definitely wait until after you've been offered the position. No sense putting yourself at a disadvantage right off the bat.

  • I would wait until you have accepted the offer.  It is none of their business at this point.  After they offer and if you accept, then you should tell them.

  • WAIT! While they can not, not hire you because you are pregnant, they can find another reason for not doing it. I made the mistake of mentioning in an interview once that we were going to be doing IVF. I was a perfect canadite and had a great interview but was not called back for a second. I really think that me telling them that did have an affect on it.

  • there is NO question here - you do NOT tell them.

    good luck!
