My best friend's 11-year-old son's name is Garren. It's funny to me that people find it feminine since I've never heard of another person with this name besides that little boy. I don't love the name, but it's probably more because her son is the biggest nightmare ever.
Garin w/ a hard G sound, right? Sorry, I don't like it.
But, an ex of mine had the name Jarin. I like that Just a suggestion

I like Garrett better.
Too feminine sounding for my taste.
ETA: I knew a guy named Garren and so many times when he said his name to people, they said, "Karen?"
I like Garen

NMS. I can see how people would always say "Karen?" and he'd have to explain ... I do know someone with the LN Garren.

This. It's NMS, but if you're going to use it, I'd spell it "Garren". Garen/Garin seem feminine to me.
