My best friend's 11-year-old son's name is Garren. It's funny to me that people find it feminine since I've never heard of another person with this name besides that little boy. I don't love the name, but it's probably more because her son is the biggest nightmare ever.

No, I do not like it.  Garin makes me think of the word garish, and Garen makes me think of Karen.  Not good.

I prefer Garin over Garen but think it sounds slightly feminine.  I love Garret, Garreth, Grant.  That being said, it is in no way a bad name!

This.  It's NMS, but if you're going to use it, I'd spell it "Garren".  Garen/Garin seem feminine to me.
