3rd Trimester

man, people weren't lying

when they said you'd just know when they were contractions. Holy sh*t do these suckers hurt and they are currently 6-7 minutes apart. I really hope they keep getting stronger and closer together but I'm so afraid to get my hopes up. I'm going to try and labor at home as long as possible before I call my MW. I'm slightly afraid I'd end up going in to just be sent home again like every other time. Ahh, so nervous!

  • Good luck! You can do it! And try not to think of what's to come.. Just focus on the ONE that you're experiencing!! You just gotta survive one at a time! :-) You can do it!!!

  • I'm sure you've answered this 50-11 times, but what is all over your abdomen? Some sort of tattoo I assume, but what am I looking at exactly?

They are peace birds and then below it, it says "From the ground I can touch the sky, despite this fight I will never die"

And thanks ladies, i'll keep everyone updated!

  • Cool! I've been meaning to ask but never remember!

Wow. I really really like your tattoo and the saying. Where is the saying from?

Thanks! They are lyrics from a hardcore band, Elysia.

  • Good luck! Its reassuring to hear the "you'll know" thing isn't bull$hit.. I keep worrying I'll miss 'em Big Smile
  • Definitely labor at home as long as you can stand. But call your MW to let her know what is going on, for sure!

    Sounds like this is it!!!

And yeah, aren't those contractions lovely? Not! Hope your labor goes quickly and safely!!!

  • It's good to hear because all I've had so far is plain old pain, nothing that possibly felt like a contraction or was timeable. I was kind of worried that I wouldn't know.

I hope your labour goes well!
