DH and I have finally made the decision to hire a doula for natural labor and delivery support.  I was wondering if anyone has used or is planning to use one in the area and could offer any recommendations.  Thanks ladies!

I would check out this website. One of my Early Childhood teachers reccomended it to us or to anyone who wanted a doula.

I plan on finding a cert. nurse-midwife. A friend of mine used a doula at a birthing center, but the nearest one, where she went, is Columbia MO. Good info on www.mana.org and www.midwife.org. GOOD LUCK!
