There is an ointment, conveniently called Stye.  In the eye section at your pharmacy.

I hate those!  I think when I had one, it must not have been too bad though, because it ended up going away on its own.  Hope you feel better soon!

Yeah, pretty much just a moist washcloth.  If you wear contacts, wear your glasses until it clears up, replace your lenses, and disinfect your contact case.  That Stye oinment will just lubricate the area, and I think it can do more harm than good, personally.

  To each her own.  I've had great success with this product.  I've worked in pharmacy for 10 years, and only gotten good reviews from the patients we've recommended it to.
