I was just wondering... I am 23 weeks, feel pretty good but starting to get really umcomfortable most days, and have had no problems this far and I plan to work until my doctors tell me to either stop or cut my hours. I work a full time job and also see a few clients 2 evenings a week after my full time job. I wondered if its best to work both until they tell me to stop or if I should myself cut back some hours somewhere. I really need to work until they tell me I can't so I thought if something had to go it would be my 2nd job? Any thoughts. I just don't want to do to much and sometimes I feel it might be from how I feel just after working my full time job.
Thanks!
Re: Feeling good (for the most part) and when to cut back work hours
If you are still feeling like you can handle it, then no big deal. It will start to get harder when you hit the third tri and your doctor will probably want you to slow down. Are you on your feet all the time at work, or stuck constantly sitting? If it's a desk job, make sure you can take some breaks and walk around and also prop your feet up to help ease any swelling. Do you have the option of working from home when you get farther along?
Either way, I'd discuss these things with your doctor at the next appointment. It really is a patient by patient decision and things can change at any time. Good luck!

Listen to your body. I was on bedrest by 24 weeks, but I felt okay to keep working (computer job) until about 29 weeks. By then I was mentally and physically DONE.
Unfortunately I was the only one working on a particular project and had to keep working until it was completed. I'd planned on going on leave the MINUTE it was done. Unfortunately within 3 hours of it being DONE, my water broke at 34w. No rest for me.
