LinzDavid

We are doing the train stuff this year even though DS is not really into trains either.  I just think that he will like it b/c he is getting into pretend.  I bought the Talking Thomas Great Discovery set and a will have a few extra things like a few extra trains and a set of traffic signs and Sir Topham Hat.  I plan on putting together the wooden set and having DS open it that way and he can just play with the trains and act it out.  I am REALLY hoping it is not a waste of about $150 but figured it would have good resale value if he does not like it and DD does not like it by the time she is 2.5.

  • That's pretty much my thinking, too.  He's getting more into the imaginative play and I hope he'd play with it.  But, like you, I don't want to waste $150.  One boy at our playgroup has one but the kids never seem to play with that.  Maybe I'll let the grandparents get it for him?  haha
