Same here. I think it's because I'm frustrated with breastfeeding and I feel like DH and I are always snippy with each other. *sigh*

I feel you I have been feeling really down lately too, and it doesn't help that I am stuck home all day feeling lonely as ever. I love my baby, but I would like to to talk to an adult at some point during the day so I count down the hours til my DH gets home.
If you feel like you are at risk for PPD, you need to contact your OB and set up an appointment because it can progressively get worse. GL and I hope you feel better soon!

What you are feeling is completely normal for only 1 week postpartum. I felt that way for at least 3 weeks while I was home alone. It gets better.
It can show up more up to a year after the baby is born.
If you need help, go to the doctor. I've been on Zoloft since being in the hospital (I had a very traumatic delivery, so my Dr. wanted to be proactive) and I've still felt very anxious at times. I'm scared to know what I would have been like without the meds.
It can show up during the first year. Also, if you're sleep deprived it can start wearing on you after the weeks/months go by and either cause or worsen PPD. I got insomnia around 6 weeks pp which they believe was PPD surfacing.
Re: PPD now?
DD -- 5YO
DS -- 3YO
