DS' got 4 teeth and he has done really well with solids. He even ate small chunks of banana yesterday when we were at the beach.
I know that I started DD on finger foods way later than 7 1/2 months which is what DS is but that's not too early right?
Re: can I give him finger foods yet?
Alright, good! I just don't remember the recommended timing of everything. With DD, I was so by the book and I don't have time to open a book now that I have two.
He's definitely interested so we'll give it a go.
And Lucy, yeah no cheerios yet even!
You bet. Our little boys are almost the same age. My guy has been eating whole foods for a while now. Last night he had pork tenderloin. He eats all sorts of soft fruits, vegetables, fish, meat...whatever. I still give him purees, but he seems disappointed with them and is always reaching for the regular foods. Makes me nervous though: choking is my nightmare!
BTW: your children are gorgeous!
