Hey...I just saw the picture of your DD in your siggie....SO CUTE! We also live in Columbus, DD is almost 5 months old...and I just saw in a recent post of yours that you were diagnosed with PCOS also....seems like we have a ton in common!
I used to work in Powell off of Sawmill. Have you ever heard of Dr. Parker at Northeast ob/gyn? I heard good things about him from a friend of mine that has PCOS and I am thinking about checking him out. I've gone to that practice, but I've never seen him.
Thats funny...our condo is between sawmill and sawmill parkway in powell...we just built a house in Grove City though.
I havent heard of that dr...I go to Kingsdale...they have an office on Lane and one off of sawmill parkway, I wasnt going there while trying to get pregnant (I went to Ohio Reproductive and they were AMAZING!) but my current dr. (Greco) is really awesome and knows a lot about PCOS.
Are you planning on trying to get pregnant again soon? I am so scared its going to take me a long time with the 2nd one too, but not quite ready to try again yet! I was on metformin, clomid....then moved to injectables.
Your DD is adorable...we had Caitlin all decked out in OSU gear Saturday for her first game (just watched it on TV...didnt actually go!)
I had a referral to Ohio Reproductive. I got pregnant on my last cycle before moving onto injectables with them. The doctor I was seeing was Dr. Jaskot in Grove City (I used to live in Urbancrest until a little over a month ago), but I ended up switching during my pregnancy to a specialist at OSU since they had a higher level NICU. He's a really good doctor even if he has a rat tail. lol.
I loved Urbancrest/Grove City. They built a new Meijer out there and it's really nice and hardly ever a wait. It's so easy to get anywhere in the city and hardly ever have to deal with traffic.
I'm not planning on getting pregnant soon, but I don't really want to go on the pill either. I think I'm going to start taking Metformin again w/o the Clomid to see if that helps regulate my cycles. I was hoping I'd be one of those lucky ones who's cycles started regulating after giving birth, but it's not looking that way.
Grove City has been really convienant for us so far...DH works downtown and it is such a better commute for him! I do still miss the Powell area though! Where do you live now?
Everyone keeps telling me about the poeple that have issues getting pregnant with the 1st, and then get pregnant easily/by accident with the 2nd...somehow I doubt that will be me! My biggest fear is multiples if we have to do injectables again!
