NBR: DH is convinced that wireless internet has affected his game...

Today we converted over to wireless internet...I love it! Now the computer is no longer in the nursery along with all of it's cords taking up space. DH got a wireless router for his X-Box as well and is now pouting b/c he says that the wireless is causing him to lose. Internet is internet....right?!? I don't like the x-box anyway.... =)

    He's just being silly! I can't wait to get wireless for our computer. We have a long cord running along the wall right now since the XBOX is hooked up to the phone jack.

    Totally worth it! We had a long cord running the length of our hall too which I affectionally referred to as our "trip line". I am sooooo glad that it is gone. DH will have to get over it! =) Stupid x-box....

    DH has lag on his xbox if I'm doing something graphics intensive while he's trying to play Call of Duty. I can see his ping change. However, its just as possible to happen if we're both wired, so your DH might have just gotten in with a group who is cheating (it happens) Mine gets convinced its the connection too sometimes.

    Actually, if he's playing xbox live games it could affect the game. DH has leactured me a dozen times on his ping and made sure that I don't download anything while he's playing games like Halo that are live. Apparently if there's not a good enough connection the timing is off which could make him lose. I LOVE the xbox though because I watch all my episodes and movies on it (we don't have cable). But ours is also wirelessly connected to our desktop, which is in the basement and we haven't had a hitch!

    Interesting! Great, now I have to worry about DH's "ping". Forget his emotional well-being...it is all about the ping! =)
