Summer was great- A is a running, climbing, jumping, etc etc machine. He's not talking a ton yet- just the real important stuff like ball, dog, bike, and out.
We're good... TTC again... hopefully it won't take forever this time. Work stinks and I can't wait for baby number two. At that point, I'll try to get 2 'extras' to take care of to make up the difference rather than work 60-hour weeks at a job I love the idea of, but hate the way it actually works out.
Nelson was fantastic. A loves camping. My parents took him early, giving us a few days to ourselves which was really, really quiet- a nice break..
Oh, and I have to say- LOVE the monkey costume... still not sure what A is going as- we don't have those "fancy" stores here- you know, the ones that sell children's clothing
Summer was really good too. There has been a chill in the air that skeers me. Winter is just so long here. But I am looking forward to Halloween. I have a rediculous number of decorations, lol. I will PIP my house once I set them all up. I got the fancy monkey costume at Value Village. Fancy.
River is fantastic. Running and trying to jump (so funny to see) and had a blast this summer. He is always the dirtiest kid on the beach or at the park. He just embraces playing so much I love it. He pretty much just says Dada and Kitty and something that sounds suspiciously like shitt. He won't say Mama but will make honk-kachoo sounds when fake sleeping. lol.
Nelson was great. The family reunion in Trail was really nice. The next generation is all boys. It was pretty cute to see them interact with each other. The trip really bumped up our plan to get out of Calgary and head west. We are officially TTC now too. I am on a 1 yr LOA but I am not sure if I will go back I just didn't want to lose seniority and a good job. Plus my H works OOT a lot and the idea of me working 12hr shifts (some overnight) was a factor. Though I am going a little crazy being at home.all.the.time.
Fun! We don't have much for thrift stores here either, so Value Village IS fancy lol
Isn't the jumping hilarious?!? Aiden is doing quite a few funny dance moves... arms up in the air waving them around and bouncing/bopping... very funny.
A is always the dirtiest kid too- I'm sure our boys would be great friends if they had the chance! We spent a lot of time at the beach developing some "mad shovel skillz" hehe- he just loves dirt!!
Anyhow, we're thinking of hitting Cochrane in Oct to help some friends out- if we make it, we should try to gtg
Re: Clays...
