measuring belly game with a twist

We did the 'How big is mommy's belly' game yesterday at my shower- it was coed.

My friend thought of a twist- it had to be the measure of both mine and my husband's bellies! We had to stand there hugging while people measured us, lol.

Just though I would throw it out there to the coed people- everyone had a blast doing it.

I like that idea so much better than just focusing on the mama's belly.  They did that at a shower for a friend of mine and she was mortified.  She has always had a little bit of a bigger build and had put on a lot of weight with her pregnancy.  I felt really bad for her.  Incidentally, I won the game with an exact guess.  I was so relieved because some people overestimated by 15-20 inches!!!!!

At our co-ed shower, there was a tie btn a few people and they did my husband's belly as the tie breaker.

everyone always overestimates! at my shower people cut their ribbon like 2-3 FEET longer than necessary. talk about embarrassing. it's like how fat do I look?!
