Help plz! Can I give my 2.5 yr old Childrens Motrin AND Childrens Benadryl?

I'm getting ready to put her to bed and she has a cold and her nose is very runny so I want to give her the benadryl for that but I already gave her some motrin for her fever. Can I give both? TIA

First, I am not a Dr. or a nurse, but when my DS had a allergic reaction last weekend we were told it was fine to give both.

I don't think you are supposed to give benadryl under age 6.

I wouldn't give Benadryl for a cold or before bed.  It can make them very wired and doesn't really help with a runny nose.  You're better off running a humidifier.

Yes you can give them both and its fine to give them Benadryl before bed if they've had it before and it doesn't make them hyper.  My dr. OK'ed all of this for my 3 yo a few weeks ago.
