We have Verizon, but my SIL has Sprint. She pays less per month than we do for double the minutes, unlimited online and unlimited texting. We pay more for 700 minutes, unlimited texting for me and that's it.
We are considering switching, but have been Verizon users for so long, I'm nervous. I think they appear to have the most coverage area wise. We travel but not constantly. I'm just worried we'll be sorry if the coverage is spotty.
We are looking at Sprint and AT&T. What do you use and are you happy with it?
TIA!
Re: What cell phone company do you use?
I have Sprint, and have used them for about 5 years. The coverage is great; I travel all over the country, and I've always had great service. I am switching to an iPhone through ATT for work. DH has a Blackjack through ATT for work and it SUCKS. Sucks!! However I tried out the iPhone at my house, and coverage seems fine. If I have to go back to a personal plan, I'll go back to Sprint. Oh, and we don't have a land line @ home, so good coverage was ciritical for us.
I think if you go w/ Sprint, you'll be happy.
Christmas 2011
Run far away from AT&T. I never hear anything good about them.
I have T-Mobile. I've been with them for six years and coverage can be crap sometimes. Failed calls, no signal. But I usually get good cust. service and am on a kick-ass loyalty plan (unlimited min for $50/mo). It's pretty much the reason I stay ... for now. I'm thinking I'm going to switch soon to take advantage of my discount and get the phone I want.
Please don't leave Verizon. I will thank you the first and third Fri. of the month. ;-)
We have verizon. We get a discount with DH's company. I have unlimited texts and like 500 minutes, which I never use.
I am toying with getting an I-phone when my contract is up.
