Hi ladies, I post on the Getting Pregnant board, but a friend of mine just got her beta numbers yesterday and was wondering if she could compare them to those of you that are MoM's.
Her beta level was 441, 9 days after IVF transfer.
We both realize that it could just be a really high number for a singleton, but her beta level with a singleton last time was SIGNIFCANTLY LOWER.
Any help you can give would be great!!!
Re: Beta Question
I don't know what mine were but I know they can vary greatly. The only way to really tell is a u/s.
Tell her congrats on her pregnancy!
They arrived at 36 weeks after PTL and bedrest for 14 weeks.
You'll find a range of women with multiples that had either normal betas or high betas. Ditto the above post that an u/s is really the way to know.
FWIW though, I did have "high" betas--10 day past, my first beta was 593 and at 14 days past, they were 1393. My RE (I also went through IVF) said he had a strong feeling it was going to be multiples based on my #s but the u/s at 5 wks confirmed that it was.
Pls. tell your friend congrats on her PG and best of luck!!
My betas are in my siggy. Beta #1 was 11days after a 3 day transfer, and beta # 2 was 13 days after.
2 chem preg, 4 failed IUIs, 2 canc IVFs, 2 BFN IVFs, IVF #5 = BFP!!!
3/23 Beta #1 @ 17dpo = 913, Beta #2 @ 19dpo = 1724, Beta #3 @ 21 dpo = 3240
First u/s 3/29 @ 5 weeks 2 days - 3 sacs 6 weeks 3 days - 3 heartbeats 8 Weeks - Lost Baby C, Babies A and B going strong
