Recommend your portable changing pad!

I honestly can't imagine that one changing pad would be better than another.  I don't know though. LOL I just bought the middle of the price range.

I use the one that came with my diaper bag.  No need for a fancy travel one with the pockets, that's what a diaper bag is for.

I think it was between 15-20 bucks.  We love it and actually use it in the house too.  We never got a changing table.

I have this portable one downstairs, it is made by Munchkin.  It folds up and came with the cover. I got it at Target.  I have a regular one upstairs in his room that is slightly longer.

My JJ Cole Diaper bag came with a great portable pad that has pockets for diapers and a slim pack of wipes, a small zippered pocket and a larger outside pocket.  I keep it packed with 1 diaper and a sample of wipes and bring it in the bathroom instead of the big bag. (The bag isn't that big either, but you get the point.) 

I love it!

i actually have a rec.  I have one by Blue Penguin, a cloth diaper company.  it's not a padded thing but rather a waterproof 7 cotton pad that you can toss in the washer.  The ones that come with diaper bags gross me out 'cause they rarely get cleaned...

I dont have one yet but my friend just got one at her baby shower and it looks awesome...it is from Lands End and is has pockets for everything and then wraps up and velcros I cannot wait to go get it this weekend.
