So, I know that pregnant women are supposed to avoid lunch meat, but we got coupons recently in the mail for Arby's, and I can just imagine how good an Arby's roast beef sandwich would taste. ?Is lunch meat safe if it's as warm as they make it there?
Re: Arbys?
A little lunch meat now and then won't hurt you.
I just had Arby's for lunch. It's not really healthy, but it is tasty.

mmmmm... This!
My baby sister worked at Arby's while she was pregnant. She ate it almost everyday. Her baby is fine.... he's a fat baby, but fine
lol
The problem with lunch meat is listeria (a bacteria) . Any restaurant is held to strict storage and handling guidelines by the health department.
I wouldnt worry about it coming from Arbys/Subway etc. (especially if you get a warm or toasted sandwich) I think what they worry about is the stuff sitting in your fridge from the grocery store for several days..... long enough for the bacteria to multiply.
