DD#2 and I both have thrush. I have tried everything but exclusively pumping to get rid of it. Any pointers? How often do you pump and for how long? are you able to build a good supply or just enough to feed LO? Thanks for any advice you may have!

I exclusively pump because LO would/could not latch on. We tried everything but it didn't work so we decided to pump. I am only getting enough to feed her each day, no extra and supplementing with formula as needed but it works for us. I know everyone is different. Hope this helps!
I have just been exclusively pumping since she was around 2 months. I developed thrush and it was too painful to nurse. We are doing fine on the amount and are even saving 14-21 oz a day extra!.

Thanks for any other advice!!

Since she was 1 month old I have always pumped for 15-20 mins after she eats. I was still breastfeeding at this point. Now that she is sleeping anywhere from 8-10 hours a night, my first morning pumping is closer to 20-30 mins.
It took a long time for me to build up a supply and I had to pump after every feeding, which take up a lot of your day. Since I am having the extra amount for saving right now, on days when I am busy, I will skip 1 pumping session.
She is drinking 5 bottles 6-8 oz a day. The bigger bottles at night. You can still nurse when you have thursh...but I found it to be too painful. I wish you the best of luck!
