I think the guy is a saint.  I had to go to Europe for the last week and he was home with DD, plus he works full time.  He loved it and had so much fun with her, she loved it to.

Perhaps this is nothing, but I just hear so much about spouses giving each other a hard time about being away.  I hate traveling for that long and it would kill me if DH biitched at me in addition.

He told me 'I love it when you are away, errr... I don't love it when you are gone, but I love being able to spend 1 on 1 time with DD.  She let's me do everything with her'. 

Awwww...   Oh, then he said the only thing that was rough was keeping up with the laundry, cleaning, etc.  He even baked cupcakes with her.

That's awesome! And you're right--it's got to be hard enough without being made to feel guilty about it.

I have to concur with your DH!  DS is such a Daddy's boy that I love when DH has to go out of town!  I don't have to hear "No!  Daddy do it!"  It's great to get all of his attention!
