LO is up to 2 lbs 8 oz and doing really well.  They think she'll be home before Halloween.  I was due on November 6th, so I'd be super excited if that happened.. I'll take a week early.  :)

She is on minimal pressure and no oxygen.  They are talking about weaning her off the cannula.  yay!

She's up to 17 mL per feeding.  I swear, as soon as they started her on the breast milk, she started growing like a weed.  She's off all IV nutrition and still gaining, so that's going really well.  She has a PICC line and fluid to keep that open, but that's it.  They stopped her fat and TPN this week.

She had a little touch of some sort of eye infection.  I noticed it before the nurses did and they started her on some eye drops and it's a lot better.  They cultured it and nothing grew.

She bradys and has some apnea spells, but she always self-recovers and they only last for a few seconds.  She rarely desats with them, so they aren't very worried about it.  Some of the nurses have noticed that she bradys when she poops.. so it's usually when she's "doing" something.  Either moving around too much or pooping.

She started smiling at us, which I think is the "funnest" thing she's done.. She only does it when we talk to her and she's awake.  We tried to get a picture of it, but of course she wouldn't do it.  Once we put the camera away she smiled.. little brat!  ha ha  I think it might be gas, but I'll take it.

Anyways, I just wanted to update everyone.  I posted pictures from tonight on my flickr account..

    she is adorable! she looks like shes doing great and filling out "getting fat" as my husband and i call it. i can see her cheeks are getting a little chubby! she is beautiful! congrats and im sure you cant wait to get her home! looks like our little ones should be home around the same time! i found a preemie onesie with a jackolantern on it and a cute pumpkin hat at target. it is adorable!

    I got her a little onesie at walmart.. I want to make her a crab costume, but I wasn't sure if I'll actually get around to it.  Halloween is my favorite holiday, so I realllllly want her to be home by then.  Either way, she is getting dressed up in a dorky outfit and we are taking a bunch of pictures to show at her wedding.  ha ha
