I dated a guy named Lincoln. He was a super cool piano/keyboard player from Miami- actually he now lives in LA and plays and tours with Solange and Beyonce. I think it is a cool name, we would call him Link alot too.

I think it is cute. I think some "gamers" use it with the nn Linc/Link (like the main character in Zelda).

It's kinda cute and you've gotta have the right last name.  I like it b/c there isn't really a nn....  Link just sounds ridiculous

NMS, but that may be b/c I had one really bad blind date with a Lincoln.  He was a twin, and his brother's name was Jefferson.  Not kidding.

I like it!  It is all about association though.  One of the main characters from Prison Break is named Lincoln, they call him Linc, and he is HOT!

We have friends who just names their son Lincoln. I don't hate it, but it's such a big name for a little baby. Her family hated it.
