So we have one born free bottle and 8 Avent bottles that we were given practically new or new. We are registered for some Dr. Brown bottles. Should I switch and just have Avent bottles or is it ok to use multiple bottle brands?
You should keep them all. Most people say that babies vary when it comes to the bottles they like. I registered for three different kinds of bottles, just one or two of each brand. Once the baby decides on a brand she likes, I'll pick up some more of that brand.
From what I hear you want to try a couple different kinds so you know what your baby will like. I have 6 Dr Browns, one avent sample, and one breastflow.
Keep them all, you may hate some brands when you start using them. We settled mostly on Dr. Brown, but we also have a few Playtex Ventaires that we like. We got rid of our Avents and Playtex Drop-ins.
i don't think it matters. My sister had a baby 3 months ago and it seems like every time we feed her its a different type of bottle. If you use different ones from day one you shouldn't have a problem.
Re: bottles-can I use multiple kinds?
We use Avent, medela bottles (that I pump directly into) and Drop-Ins. My kiddo doesn't seem to notice, but some babies are picky.
Just depends on the baby!
