Your first bike

When you think of your first bike do you think of your tricycle or a two wheeler?

Did you go pick it out? Was it a hand me down? Did Santa bring it? (oh heck, describe it to us.  you know you want to!!)

I bought a radio flyer tricycle at a garage sale and DH is pissed because he wants to buy his children's first bicycles new.  (btw the one I bought was in perfect condition and I paid $7 for it and brand new it's $80.00). 

I say the tricycles don't count as a first bike, your two wheeler (with training wheels) counts as your "first bike".
