Lupron Injection: Burning???

I just did my first lupron injection and it burns a bit now.  Is that normal?

    YES!  i hate lupron :(

    it burned at injection site and i always got these red welts that would go away about 30 min. after shots

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Agreed...mine usually lasts about 15 minutes, and gets red too.  Although after about a week, I am not noticing the sting as much.  (Not sure if it has gone away, or I'm just not paying attention anymore)

    yes, it burns! i would do the injection and then spend the next few mins rubbing it like crazy to help. It also left little marks on my stomach, which made it easy to figure out where to do the next shot!

    OMG! Yes, I thought it was just me. I am so glad I am not the only one.

    Hugs & good luck!  I do the one tomorrow morning by myself.  DH did mine tonight.

    Yes, it does sting/burn at first then it goes away after a little while.  I only get bumbs every once in a while.
