Question about your swing...

Does your swing have an a/c power supply so you can plug it into the wall, or does it just run on batteries? I was given a swing from a friend but it only runs on 6 D batteries, so after about a week I have to replace them.

Are there any swings that don't exclusively run on batteries and have an optional a/c power adapter?

There are. But only a few. But a week seems pretty fast to me! I use the swing 1-2 x's a day and replace them about once a month. (duracel)

I have a power supply, I've never even put batteries in it.

Ours only takes batteries but we bought rechargeables.  It was worth it to us.

Our SweetPeace has a wall plug but our travel swing runs on batteries. The batteries on that actually last a long time - we've only replaced them once since she was born and she used it A LOT!

I wish mine plugged in!  It uses 3 D batteries.  So far we've only had to replace them once but the music is getting funky-sounding again so I know I'll have to replace them again soon.
