Thank you, Gymboree

For saving me money.  Seriously, did anyone find anything that they just had to have?   (besides pjs?)

I'm over gymboree.  For now anyway.

Re: Thank you, Gymboree

  • big fat NO.. I have outgrown them! We are on to cuter things!
  • I have been over it for a while...it is just ugly. There are SO many better options out there for kids' clothes.  I did order a boatload of pj's though.  Can't beat the $8 price on them.

  • Actually, I looked online this morning at Gymboree, Janie & Jack and Crazy 8 --- didn't find anything that I was absolutely loving.

(I do like the pirate stuff from J&J but they didn't have Joey's size in any of it).

I agree, thank you for saving me some money.

Although I have to say, that's just today.  Tomorrow, I might look and love everything!  :)

  • There are definitely much cuter things out there.  I just hate it though because this sale is always so great!  Oh well....   =)
  • I am doing some comfy pjs for the baby and a sweater dress for DD. Also, the pumpkin tights to go with her halloween shirt.
  • Yeah, not so much my style lately. I did grab a few of the football items for ds because we're big football people. But its very similiar to last year.

I find the stuff at gap and crew cuts much more my style.

I did like a few of the football things for ds, too.

I think our kids are the same distance apart... 2 years 3 days.  How are things going at your house?

  • I was at Gymboree a few days ago, didn't buy anything because I was waiting for the baby sale to begin. I'm going to head back tonight and pick up a few things that I saw: some plain brown leggings for dd, a couple of plain solid colored long-sleeved t's for dd, and some jeans for ds. All really plain, basic stuff for fall. I don't really get into the whole matchy-matchy thing with the Gymboree stuff, but with the baby sale + coupon you can't beat their prices for some very basic things.
  • There is one zip up, hooded cardigan that I want for C but I'm still going to wait a bit to buy it since I just bought a ton of stuff for him from Crazy8 on Sunday night before my 20% off coupon expired.

  • I want the green sweater that only comes in kids sizes and is not on sale.  :(

I do like the colors in the all about buttons line.  I thought there were some cute items when I browsed in the store when it first came out.  DD likes monkeys, so I might be able to find something from that line.  Really, she doesn't need much anyway. Maybe these pants since she probably needs a pair of brown cords.

I just found out my friend is pregnant, so I may have to buy some things from the newborn line.

  • No kidding.  I'm going to do what Cleo did and get some basic leggings, socks, pumpkin tights and some gymmies.  Outside of that I don't see a thing I like.  But I have found that I usually don't like the Fall stuff they have.  Around the holidays they may have some cute stuff, but overall I don't like shopping there anymore.  I'm more of a Gap, Boden and J&J girl anymore.
