When can I start using bath seats?

Do they have to be sitting up good?  Mine can sit for about 30 seconds before toppling over so not in anyway good but I am longing for the day when I can give them baths at the same time to cut down on the bathing process.  It seems like it takes forever!

Re: When can I start using bath seats?

  • I think we started putting Conor in his bath seat when he was able to sit up by himself.  I don't think he was a pro at sitting up when we started.  But he could lean back in his seat when he got tired of sitting up.

  • we did when the boys were sitting up with no problems..they don't support them super duper well, so they kinda need to be able to hold themselves up (not that you aren't there to help, haha) but with two, it is hard to hold on to both constantly at once ;)

  • DS sits well for awhile, but still will fall over after 30 min too.  He has been using a bath seat for about 3wks now and I love it.  He is really good in it.  they don't have to be 100% stable.  We also are doing the shopping cart and stroller (without the carseat).
