I fell!

We are both fine, but OMG, so scary to think of how bad it could have been!

 

I was dropping Carson off at daycare. It is at one of the schools I work at, and in the morning the front parking lot is a mess because there are so many parents dropping off their kids. So there is a back lot that we use for daycare. I was walking down the brick path, which is a little bit of a slope, and must have stepped on some pine needles. I fell slowly, and went down on one knee. I was holding Carson but she did not seem to notice that we even fell. She was oblivious, which is good. I am wearing a skirt today, and sporting a lovely scraped knee, but otherwise we're fine.

 

So scary!! I guess I will be dealing with the traffic in the front lot from now on!

Bailey and I fell down a flight of wooden stairs yesterday. She is fine but I feel like I got hit by a bus! Terrifying though I agree.

Glad to hear you and DD are ok.  

My mom fell on ice once with my brother and ended up breaking his leg.  I don't know if she ever got over that - so be careful in the winter!

I worry about falling when I'm carrying DD.  I have a bad knee and I'm afraid it'll choose to go out when I'm carrying her.
