My neighbor had her baby 6 weeks early :(

I just found out today that one of my pregnant neighbors had her baby early.  Luckily, he hasn't needed any breathing support, but I guess he's pretty tiny.  I don't have many details, as I haven't actually talked to her.  I got an email from another neighbor about making meals for them so they don't have to worry about cooking when the get home from the hospital.  My neighborhood is awesome and did the same thing for us for 2 weeks after Reese was born.

I just feel awful for her!  Having to leave your baby at the hospital is the worst feeling in the world!

How great that your neighborhood takes care of each other like that!  One suggestion for you is to make meals that can be frozen and reheated at their convenience.  We had meals delivered to us for a week, which was awesome, but it can be kind of stressful to have to be home at a certain time to get the meal when you're trying to spend as much time as possible at the hospital with your baby.
