Bad Night, need some Hugs :(

Hate this kind of night. Trev. has been a monster today. It started when his teacher came for a home visit. He wouldn't listen and kept jumping on me. The we went out to Red Robin. This is only our 2nd attemt eating there, for some reason this place puts the kids into a crazy state. Too much stimulation I think. Trev wouldn't listen; wanted to get a prize out of the crane machine. Ofcourse he won some stupid gold chain. Guess what? He wanted a different one. Then he kept hitting his brother with his balloon. Got home, the boys were outside and Trev just goes up to Kay and pushes him down for no reason. Not that there is ever a reason for pushing someone, but it's not like Kay took something from him. We put him in time out and when he still would not listen I put him to bed. We did yell at him, and I was probably a little rough (oh, no Flame?). Kissed him, told him I loved him, but under no terms was he to get out of bed. He fell alseep, but Mom feels terrible. It's the last night of summer break. I was hoping we would have a good day and night and now I feel like a crappy Mom. :(

  • We all have rough days.  I had one last week.  It's one day out of a lifetime and you'll make up for it with many fabulous days to come.

The good news is that he's in bed and the day's almost over.  :)
