life after Nutramigen?

The pedi said since DS allergy is so mild we could go ahead and switch from nutramigen and see how he does around 6 months.  If you made the switch how did your LO do?  Did you end up going back on it and what brand did you switch to?  Thanks!

    we were on allimentum( same thing for similac) and it went fine, we didnt have to go back.

    We were able to switch at 4 and a half months.  We went to Gentlease.  He was a little extra gassy at first and Mylicon drops were our best friend.  But after about a week...everything was fine.  You should know, however, that the doctors (pedi & his GI) admitted that they don't think that a milk intolerance every played a part in his problems.  They just gave him the Nutramigen to be sure since the reflux was so severe. Therefore, our transition may have been so easy because there was no "allergy" to begin with.
