I love the name Carter- but it would be Carter Roy, and I love the name Elle, but it would be Elle Roy, and I love the name Leigh, but it would be Leigh Roy, ahhhhh, this sucks!
Yeah I have to agree Carter Roy does sound like corduroy just a bit. If it is any constellation my maiden name is very basic and boring and all names work with it, then I married a man with a name that almost nothing works with. It makes my life that much harder.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

It took me a long time to see what was wrong with Carter Roy. So it is almost something I would go with. But I can definitely see how the others would not be a good choice at all!

I didn't get carter Roy either, so maybe it's not so bad. My last name is king and I could never name my child 'lee/Leigh', 'joe', or 'may', among others. Fun, isn't it?!
Re: the last name ROY sucks....
Carter Roy is fine. Leigh Roy is a bit much though.
