follow up, how to quit being friends with someone

Last week I posted on here about feeling constantly degraded by a few of my friends. I just got another "poor me," email and I have decided I am done. I cannot keep having friends like this. Her DH and  mine are very close but even DH is annoyed with them right now.  How can I distance myself from her but still keep the peace for my DH's sake.

that's tough.  I "broke up" with a friend somewhat recently but our DH's weren't friends.  I tried to let us just grow apart and have us talk less frequently but then she left this message that really sent me over the edge and I decided I didn't even want to officially break up with her.  I just never called her again and after her message she didn't call me either.  It's weird but it is what it is.  She was completely selfish and I couldn't take it anymore!

I will be nice and cordial but I don't want to do get together's etc. I am putting myself first and enough is enough.

That has happened to us also.  I have been friends with my bf for 15 years now & my dh & her dh used to be friends but had a falling out so I just make sure that when I plan something that it's something that only her & I do.  She also knows about the falling out so that helps some.
