How often do you nurse your 3 month old?

Hi, my little one is just over three months old. I would guess she is about 10 1/2 or 11 pounds now (she was four weeks early so she is still catching up size wise). I am nursing her pretty much every three hours during the day, and sometimes it is as early as 2 hours, especially in the evening. How often you do nurse your baby?? I read somewhere that she should be feeding about every 4 hours now through the day and I'm wondering if I'm feeding her too often. I try to feed her before she cries to be fed but maybe that is leading to feeding too often. Would love to hear from others.

DS eats 7-8 times a day total with 2-3 feedings during the night and roughly feeding every 3 hours during the day.

Mine eats about every 2 hours. Remember every baby is different, and BFd babies eat more often.

DS is still eating every 2 during the day and he's 14lbs. Every baby is different. Maybe you could wait until she cries to be fed a few times to see if she really would go much longer, but if you're reading her cues and she eats when you offer it, I would guess she's hungry!

At 3 months, DS was eating every 2 hours.  Around 4 months he was finally stretching to 2 1/2 or 3 hours between feedings.

my son is 2.5 months old and goes anywhere from 1-4 hours between feeds.  most of the time it is every 2-3, but he changes it up based on naps, activities, basic hunger, time of day, etc

My DD eats about every 2 1/2-3 hours.

Just this past week mine has been eating every 3-4 hrs and usually STTN, so I feed ~6x per day
