i'm using all of my saved sick days.

my co allows 12 wks max and you have to use saved sick days or vacation time.   I also can carry over 10 vacation days from the previous year.  i'll have additional vacation time in case I need to take off b/c someone is sick but that would suck a lot.  hmmm.  I do work from home and while I need to be available during office hours, I'm in a position that as long as I complete my projects, I'm usually okay.

i have some time to think about it ... any thoughts/perspectives?

I would definitely do it, especially since you work from home.

i am still on ML.  i am a teacher and had about 23.5 days to use for ML.  i have missed the first 3 weeks of school and will have about 8 days left over when i go back in a week.  i know my situation is different from yours but i would save a few in case baby gets sick and you have to take a few days off or just need some sanity days for yourself.  but that's just my opinion....
