I did not. I was 35 and considered an older mom - but my peri put it to me this way.. she said that the risk outweighed the benefits. There was really nothing on there that you couldn't see with a good level 2 ultrasound. could you get fluid out and tell 100% about a genetic abnormality or know the sex? Yes - but she told us that unless we were considering terminating the pregnancy due to any results we got back there was no need to do it and risk the entire pregnancy.
It's a very personal decision. There are many people where the right decision for them might be to terminate the pregnancy in certain situations (and don't let anyone try to change your personal beliefs one way or another - only you and your dh know what is right for you). If you think that's you - then go ahead and get the test. Just make sure that it's someone who has a LOT of experience in doing the test in multiples.
It didn't matter what the test showed, I wasn't willing to terminate the pregnancy so my dr. also said it's too risky so he suggested I not do it. Even though I am considered over the hill (36).
I have not had it done...but will be in 2 weeks. I have a very high risk for carrying babies with trisomy 13 so it's important that I do this test. Many of my friends have had the CVS with no complications. I have heard it is riskier with multiples, so you need to find a peri that specializes in this procedure.
Also, I posted this same question recently on this same board, but not sure how you'd be able to find it unless you scroll back. I got some really great feedback, that you will find helpful!

I did not do the CVS test but wanted to share what my peri said about them--in his opinion, he said that the risks outweighed the pros to having one done in a multiples PG.
