Oh boy... those are definitely nms. If I HAD to pick one, it'd be Cullen, I suppose. The first three are really strange to me, and Lucius reminds me of Harry Potter. Gavin and Ellis aren't terrible, but nms.
I like Cullen. Gavin is OK. Ellis is nice but I think it'll become a girl's name, or at least Ellison will. Gehrig is a disease, Rutger is a NJ university and Eleazar is NMS.
ETA: ETA: And I don't really like Lucius but I do like Lucian.
I like Cullen or Gavin. My only issue with Cullen is that people might think you are a big Twilight fan. It has been growing in popularity since the Twilight craze.
Based on your names, you might also like Callaghan/Callahan with the nn Cal.
Gavin. Gavin Rossdale is awesome! My DH and I are looking at names as if we were obnoxious middle schoolers and making up all the taunts we can think of before saddling our kid with one. So, don't take this the wrong way, but that's what I did with your list. Not to be rude, but as honest feedback. Cool list, though.
Rutger makes me think of a college or the word Rugby so it sounds rough. Eleazar makes me think of Ebenezer Scrooge or an Amish farmer. Not sure how to pronounce Gerhig. Cullen is kinda cool but there's something about it...maybe it reminds me of Culinary or cult, it's the "cul" combo that's awkward. Lucius is cool...the girls are going to call him Lucious in high school, just to warn you. Ellis is kind of neat, too. I knew a girl whose middle name was Ellis bc her family immigrated when her mom was preg. Jason Ellis is also a very cool Australian Skateboarder...also an ex-druggie with a Howard Stern-type radio show on Sirius (not so cool)
Re: What do you think of these boy names?
Rutger: Eh, I get it, but I'm not so sold on it.
Eleazar : No, like Ebenezer? as in Scrooge? Bad
Gerhig: As in Lou Gerhig's disease? No
Cullen: Not bad
Lucius: I like Lucian much better. Lucius looks too close to Lucifer to me
Gavin: Not bad
Ellis: Not bad
I like Gavin. Cullen makes me think of the Twilight series.
The rest are a tad out there for me.
I like Lucius and Cullen. I like Elias but I have never heard of Ellis.
The rest are just nms.

i love the name ellis, but i want to use it for a girl.
gavin is okay, but too popular in this area for my taste.
lucius reminds me of harry potter.
cullen, twilight.
gerhig - last name, also makes me think of ALS or Lou Gerhigs disease.
eleazer - ick. too close to ebenezer
rutger - the name of martha stewart's horse.
