My friend makes Moby-style wraps.  They actually end up being cheaper to buy from her than to make it yourself -- and they're cute!  You can pick your choice of panel (which I love because it helps find the center easily).

Also, she just started making them so that they can fold into themselves into their own little pouch.

These are cute, but the are far from being cheaper.  From what I can tell, the cheapest one on her site is $50.  I bought 5 yards of jersey at JoAnnes and used a 20% off coupon.  It was enough fabric for 2 wraps for $15.  So $7.50 for a homemade wrap is a LOT less than $50.  And I have a spare so one is always in the house and I keep an extra one in the car--which has come in handy more than a few times!
