nap question for 2-3yr olds

how long does your dc nap?  what time? what time do they go to bed?

ds was 2 in may and he naps from 1:30-3:30 or 2:00-4:00.  Usually 2 hours but sometimes he takes a 3 hour nap.  He goes to bed around 9:45pm.  I posted the other day that Im having trouble getting him to bed at night.  Just wondering what other kids his age are doing. Im debating cutting his naps.

My DS naps from 12:00-2:00/2:30.  We put him to bed around 7:00/7:30.  Some nights he will fall asleep right away, other nights he will sit in his bed and talk to him self for an hour or more.

DS usually only naps for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours.  He goes down at abuot 11:15am.  He's usually asleep for the night at 7:15 and up again in the morning between 6-7am.

wakes at 630-7, naps for 2 hours 130-330 or 2-4 (this is a bit late, but it is impossible to make it earlier or i would never leave the house...#2 naps until 1030-11). bed at 7.  sometimes asleep immediately, other times chats in bed for up to an hour.

Griffin sleeps 2-3 hours for nap - at  school = 2 hours from 12:30-2:30, at home it's usually 3 hours (sometimes 4!)  from about 11:30-2:30.

 He goes to bed at 7:30 almost every night- sometimes 7pm sometimes 8pm, but only if there's some reason we need to change his regular time.

DS goes down for his nap around 12:30 and usually wakes up around 3. He goes to bed about 8 at night.

 

Maybe you'd have better luck getting him to sleep at night if you moved up his nap time?

DS goes down for a nap at 1:00 and he sleeps anywhere from 1-3 hours just depends on the day.  He goes to bed between 8:30 and 9 and gets up at 7:30ish

My girls are both in daycare FT but we stick to around the same schedule at home on the weekends.  My younger DD is 1 1/2 and she naps 2-3 hours most days (every once in a blue moon she'll go 3-4 hours).  She goes down between noon and 1.  My older DD is 3 years and 2 1/2 months and she naps 1-2 hours typically and goes down at around noon or 1 as well.  Sometimes she doesn't sleep but will always rest quietly.  I never let the girls sleep past 4pm and bedtime is around 7 for younger DD and 7 or 7:30 for older DD although she tends to "read" in bed for a while and falls asleep between 7:30 and 8 most nights.
