I put them in a microwavable dish and fill it almost to the top with water. Takes about 8 minutes or so and I turn them over once half way through the process. Or I finish them off on the grill if I'm already using it.
I put the entire ear, husks and all, in for 3 minutes per ear. You'll have to use a hot pad to get the husks off when they're done, but the silks basically fall off.?
I pull the husk back but don't take it off, take out the silks, rinse it off pull the husk back up and nuke it for 3-4 minutes. I've used saran wrap to wrap them before but I don't like to microwave plastic like that.
