NBR, need a new book - suggestions!

Heading to the Library either tonight or tomorrow, need new books to keep me occupied.  What have you enjoyed recently?

    I caved and picked up the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris and I love it! Super fast reads and it is different enough from True Blood to be interesting. I am hooked! I read 4 books over vacay ;)

    I read the Little Book by Selden Edwards this weekend.  If you liked Time Traveller's Wife or like John Irving, especially, I recommend it!

    Okay, I've been thinking of picking these up, but I LOVE the show--have they been too spoiler-y?

    Not so far - book one is pretty true to season 1, but the show definitely takes more creative license. Book 2 was really different from this season, but there are some similarities (ex. the maenid story line is so minor in the book, where it has been the main part of the show and sookie does go to Dallas with Bill but it is different) and book 3 is really good, but I have no idea how close it will be to the series. I was worried about the spoiler piece too, but so far I am not disappointed!

    I'm about to start reading South of Broad by Pat Conroy.  He's my favorite author (I have all of his books), and hasn't released a novel since 2001... I can't wait.  Haven't read the book yet, but I can't imagine it will be bad.  All of the books are wonderful, and I cherish every word of them... my faves are The Prince of Tides and Beach Music.

    Sarah's Key was good (esp. if you like historical fiction)

    Just finished the Crowning Glory of Calla Lily Ponder- was OK, easy read
